(via)The LED lights that come built-in to our cell phone cameras are generally useless. But not so the lights built into the cell phone screens themselves.
I am pretty much married to my iPhone now. Well, maybe not technically, but we are sleeping together. I am a huge fan of the BBC podcasts: Global News, Business Daily, FOOC, etc., and listen as I fall asleep.

Shirasaya
This page features the construction of Shirasaya. Thumbnail images are accompanied by a short narrative. I did notice that in the process of creating this project page that there are quite a few images involved and that I had neglected to detail most of the shiage stages (finish). I will remedy this with additional photos to be added later.

(via)I'm not a big fan of guess focusing but I have to admit, many of my favorite cameras arent wyswyg. So I decided to mount some of my favorite zone focusing lenses on my Canon... and the Holga 120 CFN is my first victim.

Super Simple Light Tent - Instructables
I was inspired to do this project after seeing the PVC light tent posted on the MAKE blog. This light tent uses a cardboard box, and some white material (Tyvek) and allows you to take reasonable photos of products such as bottles, watches, jewlery, small objects, etc. There is lot's of room for improvement but for the sake of 15 minutes I hope you will agree it's pretty good :)
