This toolkit is provided by the InVID european project to help journalists to verify content on social networks (please note that external InVID services used via this interface, such as those presented under the Analysis and Keyframes tabs, are not open-sourced). The provided tools allow you to quickly get contextual information on Facebook and YouTube videos, to perform reverse image search on Google, Baidu or Yandex search engines, to fragment videos from various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Daily Motion) into keyframes, to enhance and explore keyframes and images through a magnifying lens, to query Twitter more efficiently through time intervals and many other filters, to read video and image metadata, to check the video copyrights, and to apply forensic filters on still images. Depuis le temps qu'AlloCiné existe, aucune API n'a encore été faite, ce qui est quand même inadmissible pour ce site de référence. Donc jusqu'à lors, quiconque voulait utiliser AlloCiné pour récupérer des données sur tel ou tel film était obligé de faire du parsing sauvage de leur site web. Mais c'était sans compter sur un peu de reverse engineering bonne volonté ! Je l'ai donc installé sur mon téléphone tout en lançant en parallèle un tcpdump afin de capturer l'activité réseau. Et oh, miracle, une certaine adresse api.allocine.fr était appelée. Bingo !

The web-based service shows also related Wikipedia definitions for your searched keywords. Results can be displayed in three ways: summary, line, gallery, and can be shared on the Internet.

Search site and aggregator VideoSurf isn't perfect at what it tries to do, but it can be occasionally, surprisingly good at spotting particular faces inside videos. The indexing engine (currently in beta, of course) sorts through videos from most of the popular Flash-based sites and lets you search to find only videos with, say, Jerry Seinfeld's actual image in them. A few of my searches turned up false positives, but others yielding surprising accuracy, and VideoSurf's interface lets you skip right to the sections featuring your searched man or woman. VideoSurf is a free to use, though you can sign up to save your searches.
