Papercraft Self Portrait - 2009 I made this as my costume for Halloween 2009. It was kind of inspired by big-head mode seen in videogames. I really wanted to get the faceted geosphere look with wireframe. Software used: 3ds Max 2009 Mudbox 2010 Photoshop CS3 Pepakura I should mention Bert Simons and Haywan Chiu.

A partir de la photographie médicale d'un cerveau, les artistes néo-zélandais ont appliqué des lignes de niveaux cartographiques pour créer cette Nouvelle-Zélande cérébrale. Entre autres curiosités touristiques, on trouve sur cette île-cerveau le fleuve Visuel, le Mont Mémoire ou encore le Pic de l'Emotion. L'image est disponible gratuitement pour faire office de fond d'écran, et des tirages sont aussi proposés à la vente. Sur Flickr, on peut admirer les détails du projet, ainsi que ses modélisations en 3D.
