You might also enjoy sharing them with your brothers, sisters, or parents. As you read them, think about the following questions: Who were the characters in the story? Which character did you like best? Why? What problems arose? How did the characters solve the problems? How did the story end? Have you had experiences like the ones in the story? What did you do?

You must try to change a given word into another word by changing ONE letter at a time. Example: Change DRY to WET in 6 moves. Every time you change a letter, the new word you make must also make sense! There are hints available both for the position of the letter to change and the definition. This is a solid word play game and appropriate for gr5 and up

Dragon Tales | PBS Kids

This bright and colourful website uses dragon characters to lead the students through the site. One interesting activity is an interactive story that incorporates Spanish language into it. Activities enable the dragon or child to read the story in English, which incorporates different sentences and words in Spanish, into the story and the background scene. Students can click on words in the scene or the text to hear them spoken in Spanish. It is very different to other sites in that it cleverly incorporates another language. Suitable to middle primary.
