Aqualung plays audio files with no gaps between adjacent tracks. It supports high quality sample rate conversion between the file and the output device. It supports almost all sample-based, uncompressed formats (WAV, AIFF, AU, etc.) and files encoded with FLAC, Ogg Vorbis, Ogg Speex, MPEG Audio, MOD Audio (MOD, S3M, XM, IT, etc.) and Musepack. It can play the music through OSS, ALSA, JACK, or the Win32 Sound API. It provides a Music Store that is an XML-based music database capable of storing various metadata about music on your computer.
