Nikon D40 upcoming budget DSLR
(via)Leaked pics of an upcoming DSLR from a manufacturer like Nikon never go unnoticed. Recently on the website of Neckermann a German retailer two images of Nikon D40 mysteriously popped up. At the heart of the camera is a 6 Megapixel CCD, 3 point focussing however auto focus motor and a status LCD are absent to help keep the cost down. The missing features will be a detterent for professional photographers but not for those shifting to compact digital cameras.
