Instead of creating images or using flash just to show your site's graphic text in the font you want, you can use typeface.js and write in plain HTML and CSS, just as if your visitors had the font installed locally. This is a work in progress, but functional enough at least to render the the graphic text on this site. Here's what it takes to get going: load the typeface.js library and some typeface.js fonts, then proceed like normal:

What better way to follow up on The Little People of London than with an amazing tale of artistic giganticism? Julia Fullerton-Batten was born in Bremen, Germany and received her diploma in fine arts from the Berkshire College of Art and Design. She has since traveled the world and rapidly risen to fame as a premiere fine arts photographer, in no small part thanks to her surreal urban imagery.

Project Description Light Tracer is an interactive installation which invites the participant to write, draw and trace images in real physical space using a series of light sources. These light sources are subsequently tracked by a camera, and displayed over the participant's own image onscreen. How the participant uses the system is left entirely up to them; however it is possible to write messages, draw pictures or trace physical objects such as your face or hand.

The Urban Forest Project brings 185 banners created by the world’s most celebrated designers, artists, photographers and illustrators to New York’s Times Square. Each banner uses the form of the tree, or a metaphor for the tree, to make a powerful visual statement. Together they create a forest of thought-provoking images at one of the world’s busiest, most energetic, and emphatically urban intersections.
