We Will Remember Them - Doc Zone | CBC TV

As of today, 152 Canadian soldiers have died since Canada entered the war in Afghanistan in 2002. With this project, we go beyond the static photographs and news headlines and get to know the men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice. In the film, we introduce a new generation of Canadian heroes. We meet their spouses, siblings, children, and parents. We reminisce with old friends at home and re-live life in Afghanistan with comrades in arms. We bear witness and explore the true human cost of war.
