Jing® is a computer service that lets you capture basic video, animation, and still images, and share them on the web. To upload images captured with Jing to Flickr you need to do two things. First, create a Flickr account. Next, create a Flickr button in Jing and then authorize Jing to use Flickr.

This is a work in progress. The first beta test prototype of an ambitious idea. The vision is to develop an online desktop publishing application that would ultimately create documents that resemble the pages of a magazine. In the future, I'd like to create a service that allowed many authors to contribute to online publications, and also manage subscribers. I made the layout and placement of images very powerful. A user can easily drag images and drop them to break up text, even between columns. Wherever images are placed on a page, the text arranges itself to wrap around them. This is the only flash-based word processor that incorporates such a powerful capability. Please try out this early prototype. I'd love to know what other developers think. How it can be improved? Suggested new features and bug reports? Known limitations with this beta version: Picture resizing can be a bit wobbly...... Actually, I haven't even tried this application on a PC.

Flickr Favebrowsr OK, so how this works: start by searching for a user on Flickr. A real user, who's not shutting out the world. Got one? You'll now see a short list of his or her most recent favorites. Now, those favorites: there are two things you can do with each image: * Click on the image itself (away from the "I" in the upperleft-hand corner). This will add 10 more images to the list. * Click on the "I" in the upper left-hand corner. This will open up the largest non-original-size version that the user put on Flickr. Click on the opened image again to close it.

A propos de notre collection d’images sur Flickr La bibliothèque a décidé de mettre certaines photographies en ligne accessibles sur flickr. Ces photos, datant du début du XXe siècle, sont sous licence «aucune restriction de copyright connue» et proviennent toutes du Fonds Trutat ... (Ouvert le 26 Juin 2008) A propos de notre Fonds Trutat 5000 photographies sur plaques de verre, des années 1870-1920, concernant Toulouse, la région et les Pyrénées. Eugène Trutat, conservateur au Muséum d'Histoire Naturelle de Toulouse et photographe, a longuement sillonné les Pyrénées et photographié autant les paysages, les villages, que les habitants. Ces clichés, en général dans un très bon état de conservation, nous livrent des témoignages souvent très vivants du patrimoine ; Ces documents n’étaient jusqu’alors consultables uniquement sur certains postes multimédias de la Bibliothèque d'Etude et du Patrimoine. Ils sont à présents mis à disposition du grand public via notre espace Flickr !
