Share iCal Calendars on your LAN With BusySync it's incredibly easy to share iCal calendars with family or coworkers on your LAN without the need for a dedicated server. BusySync is a Mac OS X System Preference Pane that runs in the background and adds calendar sharing capabilities to iCal. Shared calendars can be viewed and edited by multiple users, and changes are instantly published and synchronized with all users on the network. You can even make changes to shared calendars while offline and your changes will sync when you reconnect to the network.

I know I am not alone in my love/hate relationship for Google’s apps, the functionality is brilliant but the UI is ugly. Google Calendar is most definitely not the exception to the rule, it hurts my eyes.

Utiliser GMinder pour ne pas manquer de rendez-vous. La seule condition par contre est de travailler à son ordinateur. En effet, une fois paramétré avec les informations de votre compte Google, GMinder fera apparaitre à l’écran une fenêtre de rappel à chaque évènement inscrit à un ou plusieurs de vos agendas Google. Pas besoin d’attendre un évènement pour savoir ce qu’il y a à votre agenda. Un clic sur l’icône de GMinder (dans la zone de notification, près de l’horloge) fera surgir une fenêtre affichant les évènements à venir. Un double clic sur un évènement ouvrira une fenêtre dans votre navigateur par défaut et ira directement dans la page d’édition de l’évènement de Google Agenda. Un évènement apparaissant dans la fenêtre de rappel de GMinder, peut être sauté (Dismiss) ou mis en rappel (Snooze). Dans la page des options de GMinder, vous pourrez indiquer à quel intervalle le gratuiciel doit vérifier votre compte Google Agenda

En écrivant le billet de GMinder, ça m’a fait penser de vous parler de l’extension Firefox GCal Popup, bien utile si vous utilisez Google Agenda. Cette extension permet simplement d’ouvrir une fenêtre en surimpression qui donne accès à Google Agenda. Il suffira de vous connecter pour l’utiliser. Une solution plus élégante que de garder toujours un onglet ouvert dans Google Agenda.
