Today I’m really proud to present my new “SuperBlog”: informatory. I call it a “SuperBlog”, because - for me it’s a whole new way of blogging and it’s going to be huge (in size at least Smiling ). informatory is based on “Snippets” - Snippets of information. A Snippet can be a bookmark, a note or a quote from selected sources. A Snippet is never more than 256 characters in length and is always linked to the source.

This is an adaptation of In The News, a project that heat-mapped Google News mind-share from Spring 2004 through Summer 2005. I have stopped collecting information from Google News, and started looking at the Del.icio.us Popular list of highly-linked websites. (why?) The stripes you see at top are a near-realtime cumulative view of popular sites posted to the Del.icio.us social bookmarking service (if you don't see green and red stripes, you need Flash), organized by date and popularity.

This site is for keeping here list of programs you use. This version works with Firefox 1.0.4 to Deer Park Alpha 2. KNOWN BUGS: Tagging a bookmark with too many tags can cause Firefox to crash or stall because of the fact that as many bookmark copies are created as there are permutations of its tags. Firefox then becomes slow on start up and shut down, and it seems the only way to fix it is to uninstall Bookmark Tags. This behavior is completely unacceptable. Expect a revamp of Bookmark Tags in the next version. In the meantime, please don't tag bookmarks with more than three or four tags. BUG FIXES: Pernicious Linux bug eliminated; Livemarks can now be properly tagged; support for Deer Park Alpha 2.

Idag så såg jag att Netvouz var nere för uppgradering i 10 min cirka. När den sedan kom upp igen, så såg jag att deras så kallade "Bookmarklet" var avsevärt förbättrad! Nu kan man välja taggar ifrån en lista som automatiskt genereras från den beskrivande texten. Plus att den hämtar sina egna populäraste taggar.

I really like the Greasemonkey extention that Jeremy wrote but I do not use My Yahoo for bookmarks - I use Del.icio.us. Here is a modified version of the script which adds a 'bookmark this' link after every search result: Del.icio.us in Google
