You are supposed to be able to listen to an artist and read their Wikipedia entry (if one exists) at the same time. I say supposed to, because when I tried it I was only able to get it to play music similar to the artist.

AccuRadio - Internet radio - 320 channels organized by genre

The best thing about AccuRadio is that there are so many channels and sub genre channels to explore. The worst thing about AccuRadio is the rather poor sound quality, because music is streamed at only 32 kbps. Why stream at such a low rate? According to AccuRadio, "we stream at only 32 kbps, which makes for a good-sounding Internet radio station but is not a quality level that most consumers feel is a substitute for CD ownership." If you can handle the low sound quality, Accuradio is a great way to discover new artists.

AIFF tracks for $1.49. "We are an online music store offering high-definition digital music downloads from the world's leading independent labels. Google Music: Search

Impressive, I'm surprised I've never saw this before. Google organizes the results in a very accessible way. Shows all albums and all songs (if you like). Even has links to reviews from all over the web.

Totally Fuzzy MP3Blog Search

"Search well over 1300 Music Blogs from here. Credits go to herr k for the OPML files and to gravybread for his mega mp3 site list http://gravybread.wordpress.com/mega-mp3-site-list/ used to doublecheck and verify the OPML listed sites. Without Powermarks (powermarks.com) this would have taken a couple of weeks instead of one very long day."

Six-Word Reviews of 763 SXSW Mp3s by Paul Ford - The Morning News

by 1 other
"I recently downloaded the SXSW 2008 torrent file, which contains nearly 48 continuous hours of music from 763 acts appearing this week at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas (these bands elected to give away MP3s; they represent less than half of the total number of acts). I found myself wondering how to locate the songs worth hearing, and imagined that others were having the same problem. Thus, the 763 reviews you’ll find below. For brevity, I kept each to exactly six words."

New Wave Outpost - Obscure 80's Song Clips

"...song clips of obscurities and lost treasures from vinyl records, representing a sampling of some of the great forgotten music of the new wave era, in my opinion. These clips are long enough to hear the verse and chorus—a vast improvement over the standard 30-seconds-or-less snippets offered by most online music stores."
