The noreferrer link relation is one of many link relations defined in the HTML5 spec, and the first to be implemented in WebKit.  We hope it will make life a little easier for web developers who have concerns about user privacy and security.

Brian Suda happened to be in the office that day and pointed me to a cool Flash interface for creating these, pocketmod.com. He also suggested that it would be possible to build these using just HTML and CSS with CSS3 transforms, currently supported by Safari and WebKit.

Mais il faut appeler un chat un chat: je veux bien que le web, c'est 99% de html de jacky et pas grand chose d'autre, et que certains besoins (logiquement) soient moins bien "couverts" que d'autres, mais en attendant, sur quatre navigateurs, *deux* sont *outrageusement* buggés (et Webkit 3/4 est l'un de ces deux là).

En même temps, Webkit c'est le choix de Google, et on sait combien Google n'est pas doué avec le XML, donc ça se tient.

Marco Barisione’s Weblog » WebKit GTK on iRex Digital Readers

When I joined Collabora last year I started to work on porting WebKit GTK to a device produced by iRex technologies based on the GNOME mobile stack and with an electonic paper display. My task was to make WebKit usable for the browser that they want to ship with the next version (with Wi-Fi connectivity) of their device, this meant adding missing features, fixing various bugs and adapting WebKit to work well with this kind of devices.

webkit (Apple), presto (Opera) in Adobe products

Adobe has licensed Opera technology for use in the Adobe Creative Suite applications, however, given Adobe’s recent promotion of WebKit inside of AIR, their use of Presto technology in CS should be short lived.
