Protovis composes custom views of data with simple marks such as bars and dots. Unlike low-level graphics libraries that quickly become tedious for visualization, Protovis defines marks through dynamic properties that encode data, allowing inheritance, scales and layouts to simplify construction.
Protovis is free and open-source, provided under the BSD License. It uses JavaScript and SVG for web-native visualizations; no plugin required (though you will need a modern web browser)! Although programming experience is helpful, Protovis is mostly declarative and designed to be learned by example.

Pourquoi les catalogues de nos bibliothèques ne fonctionnent-ils pas comme ça ? http://amaztype.tha.jp/ Tapez n'importe quoi dans la fenêtre de recherche puis entrée, moi j'ai tapé schiele par exemple mais on peut tout aussi bien taper slip, attendez un peu pendant que les images s'assemblent ne soyez pas impatients, ça vaut le coup. Imagine a future where immense amounts of trash didn’t pile up on the peripheries of our cities: a future where we understand the ‘removal-chain’ as we do the ‘supply-chain’, and where we can use this knowledge to not only build more efficient and sustainable infrastructures but to promote behavioral change. In this future city, the invisible infrastructures of trash removal will become visible and the final journey of our trash will no longer be “out of sight, out of mind”.
