Spam par Trackbacks - Un loup blessé

Ayant constaté que le nombre de trackbacks sur mon blog était quand même très limité, j'ai opté pour le renommage du fichier tb.php en indiquant au lecteur qu'il doit faire la modification : les robots voients toujours l'url contenant le tb.php (qui n'existe plus chez moi) tandis que mes lecteurs voient une phrase leur demandant de changer tb.php par tada.php dans l'url de trackback.

Currently, there are three methods for keeping track of what people are saying about your words. The first is to check your referral logs to see what sites are being used to get to your words, the second is to use Trackbacks and hope your fellow blogger is savvy enough to understand the concept so that you can follow it right on your own web site and the last is to go out there and find it with a search engine like Technorati, Ice Rocket, PubSub or Google Blog Search.

Frustré de ne toujours pas avoir de trackbacks sur Gastero Prod, mais aussi surtout de pingbacks automatiques, je me suis lancé dans une petite étude rapide de DotClear, afin de voir si un changement d’outil pourrait réduire ma frustration. Je n’arrêtais pas de repousser cette étude en me disant qu’il fallait mieux que j’attende ce fabuleux DotClear 2.0 que tout le monde attend, mais j’en ai marre d’attendre cette arlésienne...

Les trackbacks ont été créés par Benjamin et Mena Trott en Août 2002. Suite à cela, une spécification a été écrite et est disponible sur le site de movabletype.
Ce système correspond à du peer-to-peer entre sites web puisque des informations sont échangées sous le protocole HTTP (en méthode POST). Il y aura donc deux serveurs (ou deux sites) qui entreront en communication et qui échangeront des données.

This document describes TrackBack, a framework for peer-to-peer communication and notifications between web sites. The central idea behind TrackBack is the idea of a TrackBack ping, a request saying, essentially, "resource A is related/linked to resource B." A TrackBack "resource" is represented by a TrackBack Ping URL, which is just a standard URI.
