Keeping something is not to conceal it or leave it under lock and key.
Nothing at all is meant for keeping in coffers.
Offers in safes are being lost from sight.
Keeping something is to look at, after, and up to it,
to guard and regard it, that is,
to illuminate it and be illuminated by it.
Keeping something is to watch over it, that is, to remain vigilant for it,
that is, to stay awake for it, that is, to be for its sake before and after.
That is why one better keeps the flight of a bird
Than birds without flights.

Corredor Literário deve atrair cerca de 100 mil pessoas à Avenida Paulista
28 de setembro de 2007 – Em sua edição 2007, o Corredor Literário ganhou mais dias na programação. O evento começa com um “aquecimento” que vai do dia 1º a 7/10. Neste período, diversas atividades culturais já serão realizadas em vários pontos da Avenida Paulista, como na Livraria Cultura , no Masp, na Fnac, no Instituto Cervantes, na Alameda das Flores e no Sesc Paulista. Cerca de 150 atividades culturais e gratuitas, divididas em 14 pontos, devem atrair um público de aproximadamente 100 mil pessoas à avenida mais famosa da cidade.
