Microsoft Office Outlook Team Blog : The Power of Word in Outlook

This morning we became aware of a Twitter campaign run from the website http://fixoutlook.org. This campaign is intended to provide Microsoft with feedback about our decision to continue to use Microsoft Word for composing and displaying e-mail in the upcoming release of Microsoft Outlook 2010. The Email Standards Project, which developed the website that promotes the current Twitter campaign, is backed by the maker of “email marketing campaign” software.
Outlook’s broken—Let’s fix it

Microsoft has confirmed they plan on using the Word rendering engine to display HTML emails in Outlook 2010.
This means for the next 5 years your email designs will need tables for layout, have no support for CSS like float and position, no background images and lots more. Want proof? Here’s the same email in Outlook 2000 & 2010.

Parfois, l'aide Microsoft est utile. Il ne me reste plus qu'à trouver comment désactiver la recherche "tout court" dans Outlook, vu qu'elle est inutilisable.Pour ne pas être invité à télécharger le composant Windows Desktop Search, procédez comme suit

LookOut :: Thunderbird Add-ons

LookOut is a plugin which allows Thunderbird to interface with Microsoft's mail tools by decoding metadata and attachments encapsulated/embedded in a TNEF encoded attachment (aka winmail.dat). The TNEF decoding engine was inspired (with permission) by the tnef.sf.net project.
