Boundaries or Barriers for Petite-Patrie-Mile-End? « Spacing Montreal

my stomping grounds straddle the CP rail line that divides the Plateau from Rosemont-Petite-Patrie. The train tracks and adjacent industrial areas create a boundary within the urban landscape, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing: over the decades, it has allowed the neighbourhoods on either side to  evolve distinct characters.

Des idées ? Inventer un mode de référencement à l’intérieur des textes (réinvention du rôle tenu par la page, à partir du epub3 ?). Moduler l’idée d’œuvre pour l’inscrire dans les logiques bibliothéconomiques. Construire notre patrimoine littéraire québécois en version numérique. Donner des outils aux scientifiques pour écrire autrement, pour diffuser plus efficacement. Aider les éditeurs à réinvestir les œuvres sous droits mais qui ne sont plus exploitées en papier. Agréger de façon personnalisable et intuitive les contenus littéraires numériques et les discours qui les reçoivent. Repenser le prêt en bibliothèque depuis des plateformes de streaming. Élaborer des vitrines communes aux créateurs numériques.

Chaque auteur est en fait au centre de sa communauté, qu’il ait envie ou non de se manifester. Il y a aujourd’hui suffisamment d’outils gratuits pour que chacun communique à sa guise avec ses lecteurs.

Finalement, j’avais la mauvaise impression que l’on ne parlait pas tous du bon (ou du même) sujet. Globalement, l’avenir du livre est en jeu, mais je crois - très personnellement - que tous les participants n’étaient pas sur la même ligne de départ et encore moins sur la même ligne d’arrivée.

The pagoda (chùa) Thuyèn Tôn was founded by Master Dai Duc Thich Vien Dieu and is named after his original monastery, located in Central Vietnam. The pagoda moved to its current location in 1990 after having been in located in smaller building on St. Laurent where it had been for around 10 years.
