Lancement d’une toute nouvelle catégorie sur le blog, il s’agit d’une sélection de ressources de très bonnes qualités ayant attiré mon attention et qui méritent un coup d’œil.

The popular Dojo JavaScript toolkit recently was upgraded to version 0.4. Among new features, such as new accessibility packages and new and improved widgets, this Dojo release introduces the new dojo.gfx APIs which allow for rich graphics creation using a rendering back-end provided by either SVG, in browsers with native support of SVG (Firefox, Opera, etc.), or VML, in Internet Explorer which does not yet support SVG natively. Another new feature of Dojo is its charting engine, which also makes use of SVG for rendering.

MapViewSVG is an extension for ArcGIS 8.x/9.x or ArcView GIS 3.x by ESRI. It gives you the opportunity to convert maps from ArcView GIS / ArcGIS into the SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) format. You can then use these SVG files to publish them on the Web (Web Mapping) or on CD-ROM.

version bêta du projet CIEL (Cours Interactifs En Ligne) mené par le laboratoire d'informatique de l'université d'Avignon. Ce projet est actuellement en cours de développement. L'application ici développée vise à proposer un module open-source original et pédagogique de cours en ligne, où l'interactivité et la personnalisation du parcours de chaque étudiant fait l'objet d'une attention toute particulière. Ces cours (qui sont encore au stade expérimental) utilisent des technologies internet particulières . Il sont optimisés pour des navigateurs Mozilla ou Firefox récents équipés d'un greffon de visualisation SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics).
