Le site rgaa.net présente sous une forme navigable et accessible les 187 tests de l’annexe 2 du RGAA.

La fondation "Accès pour tous" a testé l'accessibilité pour les handicapés de 100 sites de la Confédération, des cantons, des dix plus grandes villes du pays, d'entreprises liées à la Confédération, de médias, de bourses d'emploi, de hautes écoles, d'entreprises de transports publics, d'offres TV sur internet et de magasins en ligne. L'étude a été réalisée pour la troisième fois (après 2004 et 2007).

There has been much discussion, and some arguments, about how to determine the accessibility of websites. Unfortunately, this is often polarised around two simplistic choices: A compliance/conformance based approach that usually involves a checklist of criteria; or, some form of user testing by people who have different disabilities and/or who rely on different assistive technologies. Both approaches have their strength and limitations, and neither can provide a reliable declaration about the accessibility of a site on its own.

What the arguments attempt to assert is, essentially, that “Checklist” accessibility is not good enough, either because the checklists themselves are flawed or that the checklist takes the disabled user out of the equation and relegates their challenges to the level of a series of check items.

Depuis la publication du [Lien externe]décret n° 2009-546 du 14 mai 2009, les nouveaux sites Web des services de l’État et des collectivités doivent être accessibles aux personnes handicapées et conformes au Référentiel général d’accessibilité pour les administrations (RGAA) . Les sites Web des collectivités qui étaient déjà en ligne à la date de publication du décret, ont jusqu’au 14 mai 2012 pour se mettre en conformité.
