CSS3 media queries, which include the browser width variable, are supported by most modern Web browsers. Mobile and desktop browsers that lack support will present a subpar experience to the user unless we step up and take action. I’ll outline some of techniques that developers can follow to address this problem.

perlfaq6 - what is /o really for ?

The /o option for regular expressions (documented in perlop and perlreref) tells Perl to compile the regular expression only once.
This is only useful when the pattern contains a variable.
Perls 5.6 and later handle this automatically if the pattern does not change.

SOFA est capable de collecter les informations depuis plusieurs sources, en local mais également en ligne en se connectant sur vos bases :

Le paramétrage requière de connaître vos logins ! Ensuite, vous pourrez personnaliser vos rapports en sélectionnant la base de données, la table et la ou les variable(s) souhaitée(s). Il est également possible d’appliquer des filtres. En terme d’export, on peut générer les rapports au format HTML… ce qui peut faciliter leur diffusion.

Google Analytics has gotten so many new features in the last year, that the only way I could incorporate those into my Google Analytics plugin, which has been downloaded 1,006,720 times, was by doing an almost complete rewrite. That’s why today, I’m proud to announce version 4.0 of this plugin.
What’s new with this Google Analytics plugin?
Asynchronous tracking
First of all, this new version 4.0 switches to the new asynchronous tracking method. This new tracking was also the reason it took a while to get this version out the door: there were quite a few bugs to work out; tracking by the beta was not reliable for a while.
What’s the advantage of the new tracking you ask? Why bother switching? Well, there are three reasons, as listed by the Google Analytics blog:
Faster load times for your web pages due to improved browser execution of the tracking code.
Enhanced data collection & accuracy.
Elimination of tracking errors from dependencies when the JavaScript hasn't fully loaded.
If you want to know more about asynchronous scripts, check out this blog post by Steve Souders, in which he explains the concept and what it means for page load times. The short version: a normal script blocks other objects on your page, like images, from being loaded until it has been fully loaded. An asynchronous script allows for those other objects to be downloaded at the same time.
Custom Variables
Google launched the custom variable support in October 2009, and I’ve been playing with ways to use these in tracking ever since. Custom variables are a way to add data about the current page, the current session or the current user in your tracking, which you can use for some very cool things.

Nous voudrions nuancer le propos et montrer que le tableau n’est pas si sombre, de part et d’autre. En effet, le régime juridique des contractuels, malgré ses imperfections actuelles, induit une souplesse de gestion avantageuse pour la réforme de l’État, c’est-à-dire pour passer « d’une administration de procédure à une administration de responsabilité ».

Je ne discuterais pas ici du bien-fondé des accesskey [1], ce "dispositif d’accessibilité qui permet à l’internaute d’activer un lien ou un formulaire via une combinaison de touches similaire aux raccourcis clavier logiciels"... avec lesquels il peut rentrer en conflit.
Il se trouve qu’il m’est arrivé d’en faire usage, non sans agrément, si bien que je les mets en œuvre de façon systématique sur les sites SPIP qui me sont confiés, ce qui est l’occasion d’un petit bricolage rigolo, que voici.
Il n’existe pas de convention dans l’attribution des accesskey, qui reste donc arbitraire, variable d’un site à l’autre et... sujet à critiques. J’ai donc retenu ce qui semble faire consensus. Puis j’ai choisi de faire correspondre à chacun un article SPIP, parmi les 10 premiers, qui sont alors réservés à cet usage.

Minidetector is a Django reusable app that allows you to know if a request is being viewed on a mobile device. It provides a middleware and a view decorator that sets a request.mobile variable to True if the request is coming from a mobile device. It's method of figuring out if a device is mobile is simple; It first checks for a special Opera Mini header, then for WAP support, then finally checks the User Agent against a list of known mobile strings.
