UK based artist HUSH returns to LA with his show Twin opening this weekend at New Image Art. Continuing to explore graffiti, tagging and street art within this latest group HUSH adds an element of duality - examining and playing with the idea of polarity.

But on the whole I am primarily dealing with artifacts and not experience.  A number of people have done some good work to bring in experience of computer history, most notably the Emulator People. In fact, if you don’t go too crazy on the rococo specifics of the accuracy of emulators, they do really really well to take you from “I wonder what it was like to play Choplifter” to “Wow, I am playing Choplifter“. And as someone sitting in the channels of several emulation projects, I will tell you they are all getting better, every single day – improvements in speed, accuracy, flexibility and expandability.

So here is what I’d like to do.

I want to help port the MESS and MAME emulators to Javascript.

Ahem ... Please advice people to use HTML5, as you obviously don't understand HTML4 ... ;-)

Il n'y a jamais eu d'HTML4, seulement HTML 4. Mais côté HTML-LS ils ont du mal avec la barre espace visiblement.

But, to answer Russel's question, this behaviour is not correct, as no Web browser behave that way. Hence, HTML5 has changed the rules to be more in line with how browsers actually act: In the HTML serialization of HTMl5, the "</div>" *is* permitted. (In the XML serialization - also known as XHTML - it remains forbidden.)

La sérialisation XML de HTML 5 n'a strictement rien à voir avec XHTML. A se demander si c'est de l'incompréhension ou de la simple désinformation.

Further more, if Russel simply just replaces the XHTML doctype with the HTML5 doctype, the file will validate as is, with the xmlns namespace >and everything. (The xmlns namespace validates only because HTML5' generous permission - and not because it plays any role.)

Et note, ce super conseil de faire sauter le DOCTYPE est donné à quelqu'un qui mentionnait explicitement vouloir utiliser XHTML : "HTML5, rien à battre de ce que tu veux, t'en boufferas quand même".

I've been sucked in to playing Notch's awesome game, Minecraft (if you have not played it, go get it now!) and wanted a little souvenir to remind me of it on my desk at work.

I traveled around the world to create the film which concept is "collecting the steps from all over the world and playing a music with the steps".
