New Year's Eve is upon us, ring it in with some New Year's-themed wallpaper. Judging by the wallpapers we found, 2010 is going to be all the neon and sparkles the futurists of yesteryear promised us.

This site is dedicated to the Little Gems of children's television programs that have long faded into memory such as Moondial, Into the Labyrinth, The Herbs, Cockleshell Bay, Alias the Jester, Belle and Sebastien, Murun Buchstansangur, The Singing Ringing Tree, Simon in the Land of Chalk Drawings (as shown on Captain Kangaroo) and Portland Bill. It also includes recently discovered Gems such as The Big Knights. These and other classics may no longer be seen on our television screens but we hope that this site will bring back vivid memories of those lazy days of the summer school holidays.

Too Old To Rock 'n' Roll Too Young To Die lyrics The old Rocker wore his hair too long, wore his trouser cuffs too tight. Unfashionable to the end --- drank his ale too light. Now they're too old to Rock'n'Roll and they're too young to die. So the old Rocker gets out his bike to make a ton before he takes his leave. Up on the A1 by Scotch Corner just like it used to be. And as he flies --- tears in his eyes --- his wind-whipped words echo the final take and he hits the trunk road doing around 120 with no room left to brake. And he was too old to Rock'n'Roll but he was too young to die. No, you're never too old to Rock'n'Roll if you're too young to die.

Need relief from tinnitus?

The tinnitus started after I was exposed in 1982 to a loud gun shut noise. Ever since I have been trying to seek for tinnitus help with no result.. My ears have not stopped ringing.

[The project aims at introducing a new way of drinking tea or another warm drink (with sugars), replacing the spoon. Ceramic ball is the simplest shape, where this hygienical and qualitative material finds its place. The ball is put into a glass built with special shapes. Then we have to pour some infused tea into it for exemple: the liquid pushes the ball, and invites users to move it by moving the glass. The ceramic ball comes to mix all various sugars, ringing the glass at the same time. When we drink, this ball is blocked by the gravity in the recess of the glass, moreover than its shape is too big to be ingested. This is a different and amusing way to use ceramic. Christmas Decorations

Most of the Christmas home decorations we see in the Christmas store have evolved from many different cultures. Charles Dudley Warner wrote about the Christmas holiday in 1884 "We have saved out of the past nearly all that was good in it". The evolution of Christmas as we know it today is no doubt better than the old holidays. At the mere mention of holly, ivy or mistletoe the visions of Christmas with all it's wonderful memories wanders into our minds. We see visions of ornaments on trees, snow covered hills, carolers singing, ringing bells and outdoor lights, lighting up the night. In the winter when most native plants lose their leaves, flowers and fruits, the evergreens, holly, ivy and mistletoe are winter wonders to admire. It is no wonder that these winter delights were used to brighten up the cold dark days of winter.

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Robert Jackson wrote in the landmark case of West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barnette (1943) that “if there is any fixed star in our constitutional constellation, it is that no official, high or petty, can prescribe what shall be orthodox in politics, nationalism, religion, or other matters of opinion or force citizens to confess by word or act their faith therein. If there are any circumstances which permit an exception, they do not now occur to us.” His words were a ringing affirmation of the freedoms of conscience and expression that are central to American liberty.
