‘The Vow’: What Happened to ‘Felicity’ Hunk Scott Speedman? - The Daily Beast

by bouilloire
The series, created by J.J. Abrams and Matt Reeves, was certainly groundbreaking, especially with its final episode arc that had Felicity travel back in time. “At first, we didn’t know what was going on,” Speedman says. “It seemed sort of random, but I think it worked out very well. If you now look at J.J.’s stuff, it’s a constant theme.”

by sbrothier
Just when you thought you’ve seen them all, along comes a kinetic typography project reassuring you that, yes indeed, there still is potential in the medium. This video was created by Jacob Gilbreath, a graphic design student at Oklahoma State University with an emphasis in motion graphics. It visualises a portion of the farewell speech from Conan O’Brien’s final episode of The Tonight Show on NBC. Conan describes his feelings about NBC and the situation at hand. His personality exudes positivity and humour, and this monologue characterises him very well. Even through the hardships of leaving NBC he promotes hard work and kindness.

"Kung Fu": TV Series Episode Guide

by Zizwar & 1 other
This guide to "Kung Fu", the 1970's television series shown on ABC and produced by Warner Brothers, relates the quotations from the show to the real history of the times and to the philosophy those quotations come from or refer to as it follows the adventures of Kwai Chang Caine played by David Carradine. The site covers a series guide, an overview, the pilot movie, seasons one, two & three, and notes (including information on the various books written about the show or its subject matter). We also offer a plain version for print outs but it isn't kept up-to-date with changes we make.

Mac OS X application that automatically downloads torrents of your favourite shows. TVShows will not download the actual episode for you, only the torrent files that are needed. It is not a bittorrent client. TVShows will only download these torrent files, automatically and as soon as they are released. WHO KILLED SUMMER?

by gregg
n a 20-episode online/mobile drama entitled "Who Killed Summer?" The show, which is sponsored by Vodafone and which launched last week, is a mock-reality TV series that is billed as following "six young, hot music lovers from across Europe" as they "hit the hottest gigs, the best festivals and the wildest parties, capturing content on their mobiles, while a film crew records every intimate moment in high definition." One of the six "young, hot music lovers" will, of course, be murdered. The show, which can be viewed on a dedicated Web site (wks09.com), via an embeddable widget, or via a downloadable mobile application, invites viewers to follow its characters via Twitter, Facebook and Flickr, as well as via its various characters' blogs.

by decembre

Review: Red Riding Trilogy - Cinematical

by bouilloire
"Although each installment is directed by a different filmmaker, the palpable mystery and melancholy of the source material exerts a unifying control over the story as a whole, and creates a fascinating tapestry of greed, desperation and inhumanity. Indeed, the film's weighty subject matter will undoubtedly be more than many can handle, less because of its particulars than because of its seeming inescapability; towards the end of the 1983 episode, I almost gave up strictly because it was so unforgivingly downbeat. But I'm grateful that I didn't, not only because the series does offer some redemption, but because this feels like a story that must be fully experienced – endured, even – in order to be appreciated, and that goes hand in hand with its radical, virtuoso ups and especially downs."

Episode 3 of the Final Season of LOST « The Final Season of LOST as Seen by Someone Who Has Never Seen LOST

by bouilloire
"I have no idea what anyone’s name is anymore. I thought the Rebel was named Sawyer but the Sad Day Monster kept calling him James Ford. I though the portly gentleman was named Hurley but apparently his name is Hugo Reyes. Again, shame on the LOST writers for naming a huge person Hugo. " C'est vraiment priceless quand même ce blog

Episode 1 of the Final Season of LOST « The Final Season of LOST as Seen by Someone Who Has Never Seen LOST

by bouilloire
"This guy does it all. Gets free booze from the stewardess, makes friends with a middle aged interracial couple, saves a hobbit from choking on condom drugs; he even befriends a bald guy in a wheelchair in baggage services!" "For a deserted island there are an awful lot of people."

What’s Next in HTML, episode 1

The big news in HTML is r4439, which adds the device element. [...] The idea is that a device element would go hand in hand with a video element and a web socket.
