Bien que la résolution contienne certaines failles, il s'agit d'un engagement politique fort en faveur de l'Internet neutre. En particulier, le Parlement exige de la Commission qu'elle évalue rapidement le besoin de nouvelle réglementation pour protéger la neutralité du Net, et ce dès que BEREC aura conclu son étude.

It's an interesting time to be working on the frontend now. We have new technologies such as HTML5, CSS5, Canvas and WebGL; all of which greatly increase the possibilities for web application development. The world is our oyster!
However, there's also another trend I've noticed. Web developers are still stuck in the request/response mindset. I call it the 'click and wait' approach - where every UI interaction results in a delay before another interaction can be performed. That's the process they've used their entire careers so it's no wonder most developers are blinkered to the alternatives.
Speed matters; a lot. Or to be precise, perceived speed matters a lot. Speed is a critical and often neglected part of UI design, but it can make a huge difference to user experience, engagement and revenue.

JF: To what can you attribute the growth with Opera? You’ve indicated that some of this is from emerging markets. Can you elaborate? KF: Opera has been a great partner and has really helped us get this going within their huge user base. To some degree, our current customers reflect the distribution of Opera Mini users. Many of these are in emerging markets such as India, Indonesia and Russia, where the mobile phone is the primary means of accessing the Internet for many people. However, we are seeing a lot of traffic from North America and Western Europe as well. User engagement – measured in visits per user and page views per visit – is strong around the world.

L’association regroupe les fournisseurs de solution email et emailing qui souhaitent compenser le CO2 engendrer par l’utilisation de leurs services.
Green Emailing est basé sur un engagement volontaire des providers. Les membres de Green Emailing compensent l’équivalent CO2 de leur email sur une base de calcul libre. Cependant, ils sont tenus de communiquer leur calcul à Green Emailing qui affichera cette information publiquement sur son site internet. Pour valider leur participation, les providers doivent également prouver leur compensation à l’association.

The kumi-tachi (kumi: to unite, group; tachi: sword) refers to advanced partner practice with the sword, encompassing 5 basic forms plus variations. The kumi exercises and their variations are the respective beginnings and the in-depth study of the martial applications of the basic training exercises. Associated with these exercises are strict rules of engagement based upon traditional fighting methods developed over centuries of use and refinement in a feudal society, and because they have a great practical basis they therefore dictate many of the reasons behind the movements. There is a great collection of variations that stem from these kihon (basics), due to the variables of combat, and the creativity of instructors. Once these exercises are properly learnt through slow, controlled and relaxed training, the movements can be performed more quickly and strongly, with the timing and flow varied to enable the student to experience a wide variety of possibilities in attack and defence.

Le site, entièrement construit en HTML5, est un vrai régal. Il présente tout d’abord une vidéo d’introduction puis enchaîne de superbes images en grand format. Chaque image renvoie vers un site corporatif où l’engagement de Nike à travers ses choix dans l’élaboration de ses produits ou des intiatives locales ou globales est détaillé.
Les visiteurs sont invités à prolonger le message sur Twitter et Facebook.
Une fois de plus, Nike fait appel à l’agence Wieden and Kennedy, dont on ne peut que saluer le travail.
