Welcome to "Food on Film", some of our favorite cinematic foodie moments. This list was written and compiled by Rebecca L. Epstein, a PhD from the UCLA Dept. of Film, Television, and Digital Media. Her dissertation, entitled Crime and Nourishment, focused on the food and foodways of Hollywood gangster films.

Research in Motion, which makes Blackberry phones, issued a statement in which it promised to work with the authorities. It pointed out that, like other telecoms companies, it complies with the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA) which allows law enforcement to gain access to private messages when they relate to the commission of a crime.

The history of the Montreal crime family centers around two Italian crime groups and the men who have led these groups in the Canadian province of Quebec creating a powerful and influential criminal organization that has dominated the Canadian underworld for roughly 8 decades. The "Great Canadian City of Montreal" has been the base of operations for this powerful Italian criminal organization or "crime family" since it's beginnings, more accurately when it was formed in the 1940's, but Montreal's Italian underworld started in the mid to late 1800's like it's American counterpart and continued to grow in the 1920's with the immigration of two European men who carried different Italian decent.

Qu'on me comprenne bien. Le suicide est un drame terrible, mais tout ceux qui décident de partir ne se sentent pas obligés d'emmener quelqu'un avec eux pour le Grand Voyage, surtout si cette personne est mère de deux enfants. Et un meurtre est un meurtre, fût-il perpétré par un député.

Cette minute de silence de la part de la représentation nationale est obscène. Et de la part d'une majorité qui vote des textes répressifs comme d'autres avalent des petits fours, ce geste sonne comme l'hommage de l'hypocrise au crime.
